Statement of Significance

This large, mature jarrah tree significant for it's outstanding size. It is unusual in the region having been retained and protected by the local timber industry staff (Mr. Bert Blakers & Mr. Brockman) in 1910, as even then it was recognised as an outstanding example of its species. The tree was blazed with a broad arrow to signify it was crown property. In 1921 the tree was officially set aside as a 'unique tree'.

Notes

Protected at the base by a wooden raised platform.
