Statement of Significance
A large outstanding example of this uncommon palm. It is the tallest specimen in Victoria, appearing in early photographs ,and a significant feature in the garden of a property having important associations with the wine industry in Victoria. The garden also contains a number of other pam species: Trachycarpus fortunei, Livistona australia, Phoenix canariensis and Butia capituta May 2010: The tallest/largest Chilean Wine Palm on the Register
