Statement of Significance

This tree is located 300m west down Shield Road, then 100m north along track, in the Yellingbo Nature Conservation Reserve, which is an important site for Helmeted Honeyeaters and Leadbeater's Possum.<BR>The tree is a very large example of this species with an unusually wide canopy spread. The land around the tree has been cleared (date unknown), which has allowed the tree to spread. It make significant aesthetic contribution to the landscape and is an excellent specimen showing strong vigour and good health.
