Statement of Significance
Located opposite the pedestrian entrance. A large, prominent and well-developed tree with good branch structure and a single trunk. A distinctive pine due to its dark brown bark platelets and thick two-needle fascicles. Its spreading, well balanced canopy contributes to the landscape value of the tree. Other example of the species occur in the cemetery and have self-seeded.
