This is a very large specimen rare in cultivation. The Torrey Pine, <I>Pinus torreyana</I>, is the rarest pine species in the United States and is endangered, growing in only two small areas on Santa Rosa Island and the San Diego Coast, California. in dry sandy soil. The root system is extensive<
