Statement of Significance
This is an outstanding example of this South African acacia; one of the most widespread species in Africa. In its native state the tree may grow to a height of 15metres. This is the best example of only three known specimens in cultivation in Victoria. Other examples in the Royal Botanic Gardens and Lake Waroona, Bendigo. <BR>2004 Species placed on noxious weed list <
