Statement of Significance
Rare or Localised:<BR>A tree of a species or variety that is rare or of very localised distribution. Measurements for central tree. A row of three mature trees growing along the original southern boundary of the cemetery. The trees have the characteristic growth form with open crown, wind-swept branches, and the upper branches with the attractive pink/organsg peeling bark. The trees are in good condition although they require deadwooding and stub removal. The species is rarelycultivated in Victoria; the only other known mature trees occur at Taradale and Camberwell.
