Statement of Significance
A rare tree in cultivation in Victoria being the only known mature specimen (1987).It is native to the fertile south-east coastal plains and hills from south of Bega in far south-eastern NSW to the south-east of Queensland coastal area and is harvested for premium building material. The species attains great heights, uptp 70m. This tree has developed a very spreading habit and unfortunately appears severely stressed - a very thin canopy and only moderate vigour.<BR>Located south-east of the homestead.
