Statement of Significance
A species of pine rare in cultivation in Victoria, this tree is an outstanding example.The long pendulous needles and its symmetrical shape make the tree particularly attractive. Other plantings occur in The Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens, White Hills Botanic Gardens and Cemetery, and Rutherglen Public Park. <BR>The Melbourne General Cemetery also contains many other trees of note.
