Statement of Significance
Growing on the north-east facing slope, this individual specimen stands out from surrounding plantings due to its rounded crown reaching ground level and striking blue foliage. This endemic species is restricted to eastern Victoria (Buchan to Lakes Entrance) on limestone soils. Three mature trees, planted by Melbourne University in circa1975, grow at Miegunyah, Toorak and a large specimen occurs opposite the main entrance to the Bailleau Library, Melbourne University.The tree is located in Lake Tyers Forest Park, Princes Highway, south west sideof Toorloo Arm Bridge.
