Statement of Significance
This stand covers an area of low lying land about 100m by 100m along the creek and south of a tributary. Some trees have fallen over but continued to grow. >Ficus coronata</I>,is an Australian native found along the east coast from Central Queensland through NSW just into Victoria near Mallacoota. It grows along river banks and gullies in rainforest and open forest. Its common name comes from its rough sandpapery leaves.This species is listed as vulnerable in Victoria. <BR>The trees are located at Smelley Creek, at creek junction, 1.3km along Cape Horn Track from Fairhaven Link Track.
