Statement of Significance
Set within the grounds of the Orbost caravan park, this tree makes a significant contribution to the landscape due to its prominent location and well-rounded crown with good branch structure. It is the only known example of the species in far east Victoria. This species is native to the Caucasus and Alborz mountains of Iran, and resembles the closely related Turkey Oak in appearance
