Statement of Significance
An outstanding example of the species which has developed a massive trunk and lower buttressing. Located in an area of remnant Gippsland Grey Box, The tree is a dominant feature in the landscape due to its size and location.<BR><EM>E. bosistoana </EM>is the largest of the <I>box</I> group ofeucalyptus, growing up to 60 metres tall, and a stem diameter of at least 1.5 metres. Though it is mostly seen from 25 to 40 metres tall. The botanic name honours Joseph Bosisto , a manufacturer of eucalyptus oil<BR>This tree is located in Noorinbee on the Monaro Highway,1km north of Cann River, 200m south of the intersection on the west side.
