Statement of Significance
An impressive specimen of this New Zealand species which is rare in cultivation in Victoria. The only other known examples occur at the Royal Botanic Gardens. The tree has grown into an attractive specimen featuring a rounded crown. The species' foliage differs between juvenile and adult stages; the narrow linear leaves are toothed when young.<BR>The tree is located in the south section of garden, in New Zealand bed.
