Horticultural Value:<BR>40 tree of horticultural or genetic value and could be an important source of propagating stock, including specimens that are particularly resistant to disease or exposure.<BR><BR>Location or Context<BR>40trees which occur in a unique location or context and so provide a contribution to the landscape.<BR><BR>An interesting stand of Cork Oaks planted along the southern edge of a pine plantation (Pinus radiata) which has been logged. The stand isone of the many trial plantings ofspecies by the former Forests Commission. It may be of genetic importance and is a potential seed source.
