This tree, located below the Hopetoun Lawn,is a dominant specimen in the Botanic Gardens' landscape and occupies a prominent position in the Government House viewline.The tree hasan almost perfect conical form and compact crown and is thought to be a remnant of the 'pinetum' established by Mueller. This is also known as Callitris glaucophylla or White Cypress Pine
