Statement of Significance

This small stand is growing in a billabong depression of Harrisons Creek, covering an area about 80m long. The species is confined to four known populations in Victoria, this being the most southerly occurrence. The stand at Smelley Creek is larger; and the other stands occur at Dowell Creek and Double Creek east of Mallacoota. The trees are multi-stemmed and the species is listed as vulnerable in Victoria.<BR>The trees are located at MLC 'Marshmead' on the eastern boundary along Harrisons Creek.
