Statement of Significance

Located near a forest walk developed by the school, this towering specimen is a prominent feature of the landscape due to its considerable size and spreading canopy. The lower trunk has developed buttressing and there is a large fire scar and cavity on the southern side.<BR>This tree is located at MLC 'Marshmead' on the northern escarpment of Harrisons Creek, north west of the stand of<EM> Ficus coronata.
