Statement of Significance
An impressive stand Italian Cypresses in an important cemetery. Their upright growth, dark green foliage and large size contribute to the landscape and represent a species which was commonly planted in Victorian cemeteries in the 1800s. Planting occur at the entrance, along the main drive and scattered amongst the graves.
