Statement of Significance
This tree is significant for its outstanding size and as an outstanding example of its species, as it has excellent form and branch structure and is considered the largest and best example known in Victoria.
It is a large and well-shaped tree dominating the courtyard, and another specimen occurs in the N-W side forming a symmetrical planting.
