Statement of Significance
A large spreading specimen of an uncommon native of the Canary Islands. The tree is notable for its large glossy green leaves. A tall example of this species occurs in the Botanic Gardens, south of the residence. Other examples are known at the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Anzac Hostel. This tree is multi-trunked and has developed a large spreading canopy.<BR>Located north-east of Director's Residence.
