Statement of Significance

A fine example of a species uncommon in cultivation in Victoria. This tree at the western end is the best of three examples planted along the central avenue. A pair occur about halfway Other plantings in the avenue include <EM>Pinus canariensis</EM>, <EM>Araucaria cunninghamii, Callitris glaucophylla </EM>and recently planted <EM>Pinus halepensis </EM>(c1990)
