Statement of Significance
Known as the 'Immortal Red Gum', this venerable tree has at one time fallen over and continued to grow with the main branches now forming the canopy. The tree has re-rooted at several contact points and the massive branch structure exhibits gnarled, serpentine limbs, giving the tree an almost prehistoric quality.
