This tree, native to northern South America and Mexico, has an outstanding crown and branch structure, and its location makes a significant contribution to the landscape. Minor deadwooding is required.<BR>The Pepper tree was widely planted in homestead gardens and stockyards in dry areas of NSW, Victoria and South Australia. It is fire resistant and has invaded lowland grassland and woodland and dry forest
