Statement of Significance
This tree is a very large example of Blue Atlas Cedar displaying characteristic form. This tree has foliage of a very deep blue colour. Atlas Cedar is native to the Atlas Mountains of Algeria and Morocco and are large evergreen trees with needle-like leaves arranged spirally on young shoots. Their ovoid cones break up to release the seeds while still attached to the tree.<BR>Located near railway bridge<
