Statement of Significance
These trees, native to Queensland, are two fine examples of the species growing as street trees.Along with adjacent specimens of Ficus, Araucaria heterophylla and Pinusthey represent a style of street tree planting popular between 1850-1870. After this period deciduous trees became widely planted.
