Statement of Significance
Furthest easternmost occurrence of this species, a relic disjunct stand in non eucalypt woodland of this spectacular species A stand of 20 trees that may be one of the most easterly in South Australia. The species is usually found as a subdominant in mallee woodland, not in mulga woodland as in this case. The occurrence here may be of biogeographical significance. They are exceptionally large specimens.
