Statement of Significance
A local landmark, with some historical significance. Prince Alfred (the then Duke of Edinburgh) on 11 November 1867 had refreshments under the shade of this tree on his way back to Adelaide from a shooting expedition at the Lakes. After this incident, the locals called the tree Kaiser Stuhl. Same tree as #162.
