Statement of Significance

A row of 55 palms planted in the 1920's as a council response to Mr Hamburg's action in raising funds from local residents to buy and plant trees along the Robe Terrace boundary of the Parklands. Trees are in a healthy condition, an unusual planting, forming a fringe to the North Adel. parklands. See John Walkers Village, by Marjorie Scales.
