Statement of Significance
This specimen is an outstanding example of the species. Its girth-height-canopy spread gives this specimen a bulk and stature which is comparable to other notable specimens. The impressive size, structure and silhouette of this solitary specimen with one main trunk is very significant.
The nominated specimen was planted within 2-7 years of the species being grown in the Adelaide Botanic Garden. It is one of the earliest specimens planted in South Australia still in existence.
