Statement of Significance
Two, isolated suburban remnants, indigenous South Australian blue gums that are the largest and and probably oldest, very attractive representatives of remnant of original natural community of blue gum woodland, Few such magnificent specimens remain on the Adelaide Plains. Natural Blue Gum Woodland community is preserved in nearby Ferguson Conservation Park but no living trees have a trunk girth approaching that of these specimens.
