Statement of Significance
A rare and valuable remnant in southern districts of South Australia This is the only known tree of its kind left in mallee remnant vegetation on the Adelaide Plains. Uncommon for the species to be so far south; it is therefore a rare remnant of a unique ecosystem, and a tribute to George Folland's foresight in setting aside 6 acres on his farm as an example of local vegetation.
