Statement of Significance
About 50 years ago ETSA cut down the other trees so they could install wires and this is the only one still surving. The tree can be seen on the skyline with naked eye from Adelaide 10 miles away. A Manna gum known locally as the Hanging Tree, alluding to the curious growth of one of its lower limbs; it is a magnificent specimen remaining from the original Eucalyptus leucoxylon - E. viminalis open forest flora of the area.
