Statement of Significance
An outstanding example of this fastigiate form of the species. The tree has developed a stout trunk and the branches have an upright habit forming a narrow crowned tree. Other examples occur in the Royal Botanic Gardens (central lawn), Geelong Botanic Gardens (near entrance),and Eastern Park. This tree is the best example of the known specimens in Victoria<BR>It is located West end of municipal offices, Little Malop Street end of Johnstone Park, adjacent toilet block.
